Party Golf is a simple competitive sports game where eight players race to get their ball in the hole. Play involves quickly aiming and launching your ball at the right trajectory to get in the hole; the twist is that everyone fires simultaneously. It stands out for replacing turn-based precision with chaotic races to the hole, with power-ups or repeated mid-air shots adding considerable skill to the accessible controls.

Each round starts the players on a newly generated course and challenges them to reach the hole under the selected scoring conditions. Players aim their shot, choose when to launch and can fire again while the ball is still moving, making the controls easy to understand but increasingly difficult to master amid collisions. Awkward terrain and interference from opponents up the ante.
As you progress, the focus shifts from learning the basic aiming and launching controls to understanding momentum, ricochets and the effects of altered gravity, ball shapes and power-ups. More than 100 prepared modes and extensive customisation options let players change terrain, scoring, checkpoints, environmental conditions and even how aiming behaves, creating increasingly unpredictable competitions rather than a fixed campaign.
This results in an immediately approachable game where improvisation, rivalry and slapstick disruption rather than considered club selection are the order of the day. Its simultaneous play means success depends not only on judging each shot, but also on reacting quickly when other balls collide with yours, or the rules suddenly transform the course.
