We will be at EGX from 22-25 September. The show is held at NEC in Birmingham and is the largely one in the UK focused on video-games.

EGX offers a wide range of activities for families including:

  • PLAY BLOCKBUSTER GAMES - Play the hottest console and PC games from the world’s biggest publishers before they’re released.
  • DISCOVER AMAZING INDIE GAMES - Enjoy the world’s largest collection of indie games and meet their creators.
  • LEARN FROM DEVELOPERS - World renowned game creators present their latest projects and answer your questions.
  • EXPERIENCE ESPORTS, LIVE - World class eSports teams compete for a share of $100,000 on the Gfinity stand.
  • LEARN ABOUT JOBS IN GAMES - The GamesIndustry.biz Career Fair is here to help you begin a career in games.

It's a great way to find out about a wide range of games and meet other families who have made gaming their hobby.

At our AskAboutGames stand you can come and meet us, ask questions about getting more out of games in your family. With us on the stand are the Games Rating Authority. You can find out directly from them how the PEGI system works and how to understand more about the games your family plays.

We'll be there again with FamilyGamerTV who will be interviewing families to discover their top games and best gaming suggestions from this year's EGX. Come and meet them at the stand or spot the team around the Expo.

Finally we are running a twitter competition. Simply tweet #AskAboutGames with a picture of you and your family at EGX to enter. Two random tweets will be selected to win Splatoon on the Wii U after the last day of EGX.
